Radiator Cover Measurement Guide

Welcome to our Radiator Cover Measurement Guide

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER

 

Radiator covers without shelving or side storage (standard radiator covers)

To ensure your radiator has enough room to breathe under the radiator cover there needs to be at least 5CM added to your radiator measurements each way. This is also important to allow the cover to fit over the radiator and for ventilation purposes. Please be aware that the top shelf has an overhang of 1.5cm each way.

If your radiator is in an alcove, close to a door frame or under a window sill please contact us with your measurements and we can help advise on measurements.

My measurements are external, MDF used is 18mm – Please bare this in mind when entering your measurements into the option box , 18mm is included in the 5cm allowance each way this does not need to be added.

Please see the diagram below, when choosing your measurements from my options please make sure to add on the room each way to allow adequate ventilation for your radiator underneath.

Skirting board

Measure the height and depth of your skirting board in CM, this will allow the radiator cover to fit flush to the wall. If you don’t require a skirting board cut out please don’t click this option.

 

Radiator Covers With Drawers Above:

Please follow the instructions above with regards to the 5cm allowance added each way for the width and depth. The height entered needs to included 20cm on top of your radiator height to allow for the drawers above. The 20cm allowance already includes the 5cm this does not need to be added extra. Please be aware that the top shelf has an overhang of 1.5cm each way.

 

Radiator Covers With Bookcase or Overhead Media Shelving:

Please follow the instructions above with regards to the 5cm allowance added each way for the width and depth. The height entered needs to be the overall height including the bookcase or shelving section. For this product we advise adding your internal radiator measurements into the notes section. Please be aware that the top shelf has an overhang of 1.5cm each way.

 

Radiator Covers With Side Shelves or Side Shoe Storage:

Please follow the instructions above with regards to the 5cm allowance added each way for the height and depth. The width entered needs to be the overall width including the side shelves or shoe storage. For this product we advise adding your internal radiator measurements into the notes section. Please be aware that the top shelf has an overhang of 1.5cm each way.
